Karrine ‘SuperHead’ Steffans: Keeping it Real

Wikipedia states that Superhead is ‘is a former music video model and author who wrote two books that made the New York Times best seller list: Confessions of a Video Vixen in 2005, and The Vixen Diaries in 2007.’ and that her occupation is ‘Author’.

Not to discredit her present ‘state of mind’ and where she is trying to go with her life but this couldn’t be the farthest thing from bullshit next to Mase switching to preaching, coming back to music in 2004 and then just recently doing a remix to Drake’s ‘Best I Ever Had’.

I am all for people reforming themselves and being better people but my problem here is that, she is using her ‘reform’ to try to make more money and when the pursuit is primarily money, shouldn’t we question her efforts?  Superhead would like for us to forget the fact that she was not just a video model, she was also a porn star and all around gold digging hoe.

(Confessions of a Video Vixen) exposed all of the men she had whored with in the celebrity world. She claimed to write the book to tell the story of her life to tell a story of how you can overcome adversity, but she knew damn well that it would be just another sob story and probably wouldn’t sell much so some agent tells her that she can make more money by calling out names…..FAIL #1!!! Teaching folks is one thing, trying to make money while doing it ruins your credibility.  Ever heard of AmeriCorps/Peace Corps…yea they teach more and make significantly less money.

The Vixen Diaries – the second book talked about how she was able to deal with the backlash of her first book especially how people called her a whore et cetera. Yet some people, who needed to hear another sob story to make themselves feel better, bought yet another book….FAIL#2!!!!

The new book….The Vixen Manual (How to find, seduce, and keep the man you want) is being described as a book to help women in their relationships. Are you fucking serious? When you have to seduce a man, you are a GOLD DIGGER not a committed partner. When you need advise on how to keep your man as if he is a rental property, you are not in a relationship because he loves you back, you are hanging on tight and one day you will lose your weak ass grip.

Before you go out and buy any other nonsense that this reformed hoe is spewing onto paper, please ask yourself if you would (in the future) allow superhead to come to your kitchen table to give your 14 year old daughter the ‘birds and bees conversation’.

For those that believe in 2^nd chances in life (as I do) and say that some of the best people to teach are those that have experienced, then please charge  Superhead to try one of these for reform:

• Go teach high school (too many up and coming hoes in this world)
• Go join a convent (force yourself to keep your legs closed, consider it prison for 5 years)
• Volunteer your ‘Superhead’ services as a U.N. peace keeper. I am sure Kim Jong Il or Putin would for her to visit. Shit, she might be able to bring Osama out his cave, I am sure Osama has seen her work.
• STOP WRITING BOOKS!!!

If you want to get relationship advise, try this….. please beg the following people to write a book or just have coffee with them:

• The responsible parents in your life
• That old admin assistant at your job who has been married for 30 years
• Will and Jada (for now)
• Denzel and Paulette
• Ruby Dee (R.I.P. Ossie)
